How to Submit Art Work to the @rt Gallery

The @rt room accepts work in any medium from artists between the ages of 5 and 12 for exhibition in the @rt gallery. If the work is available via FTP or WWW, include a URL in an e-mail message to Craig Roland who will try to retrive the work. If the work has been scanned, you may try sending it as an e-mail attachment. If that doesn't work, you may send the image(s) on a Macintosh- or PC-formatted HD disk or as 35mm slides via snail mail to the address below. Photographic images which are of poor quality (e.g., dark or out-of-focus) will not be accepted. Only original art work will be accepted. In order to get these materials back, you must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope in the package.

Scanned images in the following digital formats can currently be accepted:

Submissions should include:

If work is accepted for exhibition, we reserve the right to resize, convert formats and/or crop the image for inclusion. While the original artist maintains all copyright privileges, unauthorized use of the work by persons who download images from the site can not be prevented. If this is a problem, please do not submit work.

It is assumed that parental permission is acquired before submitting works for possible consideration. Only the first name (and last initial when provided) of the artist will be used in labelling the work on exhibition. (See Kids' Privacy Statement).

The curator of the @rt gallery is Craig Roland who can be contacted via e-mail at rolandc@grove.ufl.edu or by writing him at: The School of Art and Art History, FAC 302, The University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, USA 32611.
