"One of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. Salzburg has everything from culture and beauty of the past to the modern excitement of sports, nightlife, and relaxing with friends. It is the best place to learn about foreign politics and culture and gaining the memories of a lifetime. It was exciting to be immersed in the old European Culture while still enjoying the comforts of 'home'."

"Wow! What an awesome trip! We learned a lot both in the classroom and on the field trips. We had a chance to travel and explore many fascinating places both in groups and on our own. I enjoyed staying with an
Austrian family and interacting with the other students. I miss Salzburg already!"

Hiroyoshi Murasaki
(Political Science) Salzburg 2004

"I participated in the European Studies portion of the program. It only took me a few moments to decide that I wanted to to do this program, but the memories made and perspective gained has changed my life forever!  Before I went, I had only a vague understanding of Central European culture and the EU; I left with a thorough understanding of both. It was a great balance of education and socializing. I had an opportunity to visit Vienna, Munich, Italy, London, and Amsterdam. Studying abroad should be a priority for every student interested in politics, and this is definately a great program to learn and have fun."

“I was born and raised in England but I never experienced Eastern Europe. I wanted to be integrated into a society in Europe and this program helped that."

“The experience made me realize that the world is accessible to me in ways I've never imagined!"

“Everything we did had a cultural background to it.  Music was and still is a part of their culture, so our filed trips that involved music also had a cultural aspect to it”

Dominique Edwards
(Music, Piano)
Salzburg 2003

"This trip has definitely made me think more about my future and the options I have after UF, in music and in other career fields…This trip was great because it made everything much more real, when you discuss things in a book it’s not the same as seeing it live”
