It is my pleasure to welcome you to the School of Art + Art History.
You will find UF to be an exceptional place to study the studio arts,
art education and art history. The studios and classrooms are active
places, where faculty and students interact. Our faculty is world class,
exhibiting and lecturing all over the globe. Our students are outstanding,
having made it through a very competitive admissions process!
We have three University Galleries where faculty, students and alumni,
as well as professional artists, exhibit their work. The Harn Eminent
Scholar Chair in Art History lecture series and the Visiting Artist
program bring us lectures, demonstrations and critiques by the best
people in their fields. Numerous student clubs offer activities that
enhance our mission while often collaborating with the community.
Additionally, The Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art maintains exemplary
art collections and offers innovative exhibitions and educational
programs, from which we benefit immensely.
I am sure, after taking time to tour our website, you will agree
- the School of Art + Art History is an exciting place!

I'm the Office Manager for SAAH. I put everyone on payroll (except for
graduate students - our Program Assistant takes care of that) and monitor
spending, disburse scholarships and art awards, take care of building
maintenance issues and check out keys to SAAH facilities.

Welcome to the School of Art and Art History! As the advisor, I'm the
central go-to person to help you navigate through UF's system - whatever
you may need. While I typically handle questions and concerns regarding
your academic requirements, I'm committed to helping you get the most
out of your college experience, so feel free to ask me whatever. While
I may not know the answer, I'll do my best to point you in the right
direction. I have a variety of appointment times and walk-in times,
and times where I'm not available to see students, so be sure to check
my schedule. It's easy to get confused about which courses you need
to take when, so please be sure to check in with me. I look forward
to working with you!

My job is to welcome the undergraduate student to the advising office,
helping them as much as possible before they see Dana!

to thesis work and beyond!
