The Society of Art History Graduates, Art Education, and Museum Studies (AHEMS) is an organization dedicated to the support of the Art History, Art Education, and Museum Studies graduate students at the University of Florida. AHEMS looks to engage in the academic community through an open, interactive dialogue not only within our own membership, but with scholars from across the University, region, and country. To carry out our mission, AHEMS has sponsored a graduate symposium for graduate and postgraduate students to present their research in a public forum and actively funds student travel and research to conferences and symposia throughout the country. AHEMS also funds approved student curatorial projects and copyright needs for article submissions.
