University of Florida Ceramics has a post-baccalaureate study program for people who have developed a body of focused work and wish to do further development of that work as a focused portfolio for professional opportunites. We offer a lively, diverse community of people making art in clay, with the department consolidated in one space in a quad with other art studio buildings, the Architecture and Fine Arts Library, and University and Focus galleries.
Post-baccalaureate students have a dedicated table space in a classroom, and take a minimum of 3 credits of Advanced Ceramics. People from U.F. Ceramics’ post-baccalaureate program have gone on to graduate school and/or residency at recognized national programs.
