Kate Glennon (Assistant Costume Studio Manager) has been an employee of the School of Theatre and Dance since 2005. She comes to the University of Florida from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where she worked in the finance industry on the New York Stock Exchange for companies like A.G. Edwards and Leahman Brothers. She has raised two children and is blessed with two grandchildren. Kate arrived in Gainesville in 2000 and developed The Cushion Company, a small online business specializing in custom design. Before arriving at University of Florida, she has had the pleasure of working at the Hippodrome Theatre in both the accounting department and the costume shop while managing an organic farm well known in the area for herbal tonics and alternative medicines. Generous with her abilities and wide range of experience, Kate is an intrinsic aspect of each and every production created in the School of Theatre and Dance.
