New Graduate Certificate in Public Health Program under development:

The Center for Arts in Medicine is currently developing a new online Graduate Certificate in Arts in Public Health. The fully online certificate program is scheduled to launch in January of 2014. The Certificate recognizes the acquisition of knowledge and skills related to the use of the arts to improve the health of communities. It is designed to enable graduate students and professionals in public health, the arts, and other health and human services professions to effectively engage the arts to address public health issues by enhancing health literacy and promoting healthy lifestyles. The program will also prepare students and professionals to effectively manage arts programs in community settings. The Certificate is offered by the College of Fine Arts and administered through the Center for Arts in Medicine. Click here for more information.

12th annual Arts in Healthcare Summer Intensive program runs July 8-19, 2013 at UF

The Arts in Healthcare Summer Intensive is a comprehensive training program for artists, caregivers, administrators, students, educators, and others who wish to explore the roles of the arts in healthcare fields and settings. Click here for more information.
