The Center for Arts in Medicine is currently developing a new online Graduate Certificate in Arts in Public Health. The fully online certificate program is scheduled to launch in January of 2014. The Certificate recognizes the acquisition of knowledge and skills related to the use of the arts to improve the health of communities. It is designed to enable graduate students and professionals in public health, the arts, and other health and human services professions to effectively engage the arts to address public health issues by enhancing health literacy and promoting healthy lifestyles. The program will also prepare students and professionals to effectively manage arts programs in community settings.
