Carol McCoy
Carol Piatnek-McCoy, presently completing her doctoral studies in Music Education/Theory emphasis, serves the University as the Graduate Assistant in Carillon. She holds a master's degree in Music Theory from UF, and a bachelor of Music Performance in voice from the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC. Carol appears regularly on the noontime carillon recital series and has performed several solo concerts on the Sunday afternoon recital series. She began studying this unique instrument during her doctoral work several years ago and intends to incorporate carillon teaching and performance into her professional music career.
