Interdisciplinary Artist-Scholar

The Meadows School of the Arts invites nominations and applications for an interdisciplinary artist-scholar, whose work involves more than one medium and more than one method of distribution. The individual's work should be recognized nationally in at least two circles of professional criticism.

Music Omi International Music Residency Program
Unique Artist Colony Opportunity

Music Omi International Music Residency Program is now accepting applications for the summer 2009 session July 23 through August 9 (NYC concert August 10). Performing composers, composing performers, improvising musicians, traditional and folk players, and sound artists from ALL musical disciplines and backgrounds who wish to take part in a collaborative music-making residency are encouraged to apply. No application fee. Full room and board will be provided (fellows must provide their own travel). The beautiful Omi campus is located in upstate New York. Summer 2008 Guest Mentor: Soo-Jung Kae (Korea).
