UF and SAAH administration and UF Ceramics are a PC-orienting computing environments. While some students have chosen to use a MAC, there are often complications in sharing files. A PC is recommended. 
Minimum Hardware
Current hardware that will support running current versions of spreadsheet, word-processing, image editing, and web software (e.g Microsoft Office –Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.- , Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver). Modem or other hardware that enables connection to the internet at least at 56 kbs; ink jet or laser printer recommended

Corel or MS Office suite; Adobe Photoshop, Hyperglaze (Mac or PC) or GlazChem for PC glaze calculation software, e-mail capability.

Digital Video Camera, Digital Still Camera (at least 4 mega pixels), Minidisc recorder/player or MP3 recorder for sound recording, external hard drive at least 40 GB
