Research Summary:

Dr. Frosch is a dance ethnographer focusing on contemporary global expression in performance. A Certified Laban Movement Analyst, filmmaker, choreographer, and author, she is director and co-founder of UF’s Center for World Arts, a living laboratory that explores the interface of global arts and contemporary culture which supports international curricula and research across disciplines. Recognized by the national Lilly Fellowship for innovative curriculum in Dance in World Cultures, the National Endowment for the Arts (Dance-Creativity), the Cologne Choreographers' Forum for her choreography, "China," her production "Nora" (2008) received the inaugural EMPAC (RPI) Dance MOVieS film commission. "Nora" is broadcast by PBS as part of AfroPop programming. www.movementrevolutionafrica.com/nora.
