College of Fine Arts Research Profiles

My current performance interests include: (1)  chamber music for saxophone and other instruments—specifically new works for saxophone and cello., (2) concertos for saxophone and wind ensemble, and (3) new recital music for saxophone and piano.  Projects are underway commissioning and recording this repertoire.

Additional research interests in music analysis for performance, and on how musicians learn music has been inspired by work done in the saxophone teaching studio.
