Fine art photography video installation

Research Biography:
Placing my photographic and video work in dialogue with one another creates a shared visual language of feelings, perceptions and experiences that intertwine through poetic symbolic imagery. The common generational challenge to cope with aging and the fear of premature death in my family is used to address universal concerns relatable to others. Various strands of visual and auditory content woven together and the restructuring of narrative are common threads throughout my practice. My photography also encapsulates a hybridized adult perspective of childhood fantasy that hinges on the mystical and the surreal.
