We are the University of Florida Friends of Theatre and Dance – a group of dynamic people who have come together to support the UF College of Fine Arts School of Theatre and Dance. Thank you for your interest!

The UF Friends of Theatre and Dance (FoTD) is passionate about theater and dance. We were created in early 2008, complete with a Board of Directors and Bylaws. We have already achieved significant milestones as we continue to support the School. In April 2008 we awarded two scholarships, one in theater and one in dance, to a student selected by faculty as showing the most professional promise.  

The School has a strong artistic program with internationally recognized faculty members. Its students are highly dedicated and talented, and a pleasure to watch! We invite you to join us and enjoy the many exciting performances at the Constans Theatre, Black Box Theatre, and the dance studios at the Nadine McGuire Theatre and Dance Pavilion in the center of UF's campus. As an active member you will be informed of the wonderful events and fundraising opportunities throughout the year. 

Become a Friend and join our efforts to benefit the School of Theatre and Dance. There is so much we want to accomplish and we need your help. Our goal is to raise funds to support new resources within the UF College of Fine Arts School of Theatre and Dance, including scholarships and travel for students, performances and lectures, student educational opportunities, and new and renovated facilities, as well as domestic transportation for students to attend regional and national events that will showcase their talent. 

Indeed, our business is these students! We want to show everyone that the University of Florida is championship-level on the performing arts stage, as well as the athletic field. Please keep an eye on us, our events and the School's overall performance.  More importantly, become a member to receive updates and advance notice of all of these events and activities.
