SPECIAL EXHIBITION WEBSITE

The University Gallery proudly presents an exhibition of sculpture and painting by renowned artists William King and Connie Fox. Both born in 1925 and residing in East Hampton, New York, Fox and King have enjoyed very successful international careers in the visual arts.

Although they are married, as a couple, these artists have rarely exhibited together, yet their work over the years does reveal some interaction in terms of visual elements. Our exhibition will highlight the most recent work by both artists, also referencing the subtle connections in their imagery.

William King is an alumnus of the University of Florida. Born in Jacksonville, he grew up in Coconut Grove, and then moved to New York City in 1945. Connie Fox, originally from Fowler, Colorado, moved to East Hampton in 1979 where she met and married King. They have been an active part of the thriving arts scene in the Hamptons for many years, and have an illustrious circle of colleagues in the museum and gallery world. This exhibition will be an important and memorable event for the University Gallery.
