PUBLICATIONS
"Art for the Pre-K Exceptional Child" Co-author of a book chapter that seeks consensus in theory and best practices in art and early special education, aimed at pre-and veteran educators. To be published by National Art Education Association. In development, 2002.
"Express Diversity!" Contributing writer of a curriculum resource which utilizes the arts to identify the contributions to society by individuals with disabilities, providing educators with quality materials to honor diversity, perseverance and creativity; includes 5 art-based teaching modules, a classroom timeline, a bulletin board kit, video biography of Chuck Close, and bi-lingual parent information letters. Published by Very Special Arts National Office, 1998
"Young Children and The Arts: Making Creative Connections" Contributing writer to the Task Force Report on Children’s Learning and the Arts: Birth to Age Eight", an advocacy and informational document identifying examples of activities, programs, research, and resources that exemplify guiding principles of early childhood art education as defined by a consortium of over 55 organizations including the US Department of Education, the National Head Start Association, the National Endowment for the Arts.  Published by the Arts Education Partnership, 1998
