CHORAL PEDAGOGY WORKSHOP

Choral Pedagogy, an interdisciplinary study of choral teaching techniques and vocal health, is the newest academic field in the training of music educators. The textbook for the course is Choral Pedagogy, written by Dr. Smith with Dr. Robert T. Sataloff, MD, DMA. Daily activities include procedures for warm-up and cool-down, music reading, score study, and rehearsal planning. A variety of choral demonstration groups, video presentations, and class discussions provide abundant learning opportunities.

Workshop fee: $375 (Deposit of $50 due on May 1, 2008)
Undergraduate and Graduate Credit available at additional cost.
