TR 7th & 8th Periods

The University Choir is the premier choral ensemble in the University of Florida School of Music. Comprised of eighty students, most of whom are pursuing degrees in the field of music, the choir also includes outstanding singers from among the University of Florida's 48,000 students. A mixed chorus conducted by Dr. Will Kesling, the University Choir performs culturally diverse choral master works from all style periods, with the repertoire ranging from intimate a cappella settings to grandiose scores with orchestra.

The chorus has performed with the Florida, Jacksonville and Gainesville Symphony Orchestras, and recently made a jump to the international concert stage, performing Dvorak's Te Deum and Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with the Czech National Orchestra and the Czech Philharmonic Chorus in Prague in June 2003.

Membership is by audition. For information on Choral Auditions, click here.
