The Percussion Area features Percussion Ensemble and the Sunshine Steelers Steel Drum Ensembles.  There are also performance opportunities in Marching Band, Wind Symphony, Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Jazz Bands, Jacare Brazilian Ensemble, and Agbedidi African Dance and Drum Ensemble.  Ensembles are open to all students through audition regardless of major.

The School of Music offers undergraduate degrees in performance, education, theory/composition. music history, and combination degrees with outside fields.  Graduate degrees included the MM and Ph.D in a variety of disciplines. 

Auditions for admission take place each spring.  Auditions for ensemble placement occur at the beginning of Fall Semester and the beginning of Spring Semester.  Visit www.arts.ufl.edu/music for more information.
