Alex
van Duuren is senior at the University of Florida majoring in Trombone
Performance. During the year, Alex works with the Walt Disney World
Corporation as a Student Musician, performs with the Gainesville Brass
Quintet, and the Gainesville Civic Chorus. In addition to the trombone,
Alex is active on euphonium and piano. Recently he was invited to
perform at the South Regional Tuba Euphonium Conference, and in the
Spring of 2007 played keyboard in P.K. Yonge's performance of the
Broadway musical, Les Miserables. This coming school year (2007-2008)
Alex will be continuing his work at Disney, preparing auditions for his
graduate studies, and in the spring, will give his Senior Recital. Alex
plays on an Edwards T350 (333CF, STD slide, rose brass tuning slide)
for symphonic style performances, and a custom made C.G. Conn in the UF
Jazz Ensemble.

Stefanie
Acevedo is a fourth year Bachelor of Music student in
Music Composition. She plays trombone in multiple ensembles at the
University of Florida including, but not limited to, the Volleyball and
Basketball pep bands, the Symphonic Band, and the University Orchestra.
Last year she completed her Junior Recital, and while not expecting to
perform a Senior one, she plans on taking trombone lessons this year in
order to advance her studies and prepare for graduate school auditions.
Stefanie currently serves as President of the University of Florida
chapter of the Society of Composers Inc, Recording Secretary and
Webmaster of the Delta Gamma chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, and member of
the Alpha Eta chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi. She plays on a Bach 42B
Stradivarius Trombone.

Cory
Robeck is a first year music- erformance major with aspirations of
continuing on to medical school. He specializes in bass trombone but
doubles on tenor when needed. He comes to the University of Florida
from McLean, VA. Prior to coming to UF, he was a member of the McLean HS
Symphonic band under the direction of James Kirchenbauer. While at
McLean, he was a performer at the Midwest Clinic and Indianapolis
Concert band festival. His orchestral experience involves two seasons
with the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and a performance with
the National Symphony in 2006. He plays on an Edwards double thayer
valve bass (B454).

Stephanie Mair - BM '04 / MM '06 Music Performance
Stephanie Mair graduated from the University of Florida in
2006 with a Masters of Music in Performance. She also holds a Bachelors
of Music in Performance (2004), a Bachelors of Science in Zoology
(2004), and a minor in Classical Studies from UF. During her six years
at UF, she performed in the University Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Jazz
Band, and various chamber music ensembles. Ms. Mair is currently
pursuing a Masters of Music in Wind Performance and Literature at
Northwestern University. Her current teachers include Charlie Vernon,
Randy Hawes, Michael Mulcahy, and Pete Ellefson.
Joel Brown - BM '06 Music Performance
Joel
Brown graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida in 2006
with a B.M in Music Performance and minors in Physics and Math. During
his four years there, he performed with the UF Jazz Band, Orchestra,
Wind Symphony, Brass Quintet, the Sweet 'N Low Trombone Quartet, and
the 4G Trombone Quartet, among others. He was also the co-winner of the
2005 Grissom/Rosolino Trombone Award. Mr. Brown is currently enrolled
at Rice University, pursuing a Masters of Music degree, to be completed
in 2008.
