University Gospel Choir Presents Series of Fall Performances

The University of Florida Gospel Choir will be hosting events throughout the week of Oct. 29- Nov. 4 that will highlight its theme, “Do You Know Him.” The week’s events, which will include a game night, forum and Red Mango fundraiser, will culminate with a fall concert that will take place Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Rion Ballroom at the Reitz Union.

This week’s events include the following:

  • A game night at the Institute of Black Culture (IBC) on Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m.
  • A forum based on the choir’s theme, “Do You Know Him,” in McCarty Hall B 1108 on Nov. 1 from 6-7:30 p.m.
  • A fundraiser at Red Mango on Archer Road on Nov. 2 from 4-7 p.m.

The UF Gospel Choir was established to encourage other with the spirited sounds of Gospel and Contemporary Christian music to impact and change the atmosphere of student life here on campus at UF and Gainesville community. The fall concert will be filled with a night of praise, fellowship, culture, fun and worship.
