HESCAH Lecture Monday, November 26th
The Harn Eminent Scholar Chair in Art History lecture program invites you to attend a thought-provoking, relevant lecture that explores the relationship between the Contemporary African artist and the fine arts museum.
Dr. Elisabeth Harney, an associate professor for the department of fine art at the University of Toronto, will be giving the lecture ”The Perils of Intervention: Institutional Critique in the Age of the Contemporary African Artist" on Monday, November 26 at 6:00 p.m. in the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art’s Chandler Auditorium.
There will be a reception following the lecture. Both the lecture and the reception are free of charge and open to the public.
