The excerpts are from Beethoven's Egmont Oveture and Haydn's Symphony No. 101.

The ensemble meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:55 to 3:50 (Periods 7/8)  and performs pieces from the symphonic repertoire and also participates in full ballet, musical, and opera productions. In addition to our on campus concerts the orchestra regularly plays across the state of Florida

The orchestra's string auditions for the Fall 2009 semester will be held on Monday, August 24, 2009 in MUB 127.

A sign up sheet for audition times will be posted out side the orchestra room (MUB 121) on Monday, August 10. Please sign up as early as possible.
