Mission Statement:
To foster the creation of interdisciplinary initiatives throughout the College of Fine Arts, between the College of Fine Arts and allied colleges throughout the University of Florida, and among academic and professional programs nationally and internationally. To amass information that will enable the College of Fine Arts to appropriately publicize current interdisciplinary research and creative activities and maximize the use of available resources. To assist college faculty in developing needed skills in the identification, writing and administration of grants and contracts. The ISGC Task Force will work toward developing strategies to offer inter-disciplinary courses and trans-disciplinary degree programs.
