Graduate Admissions and Academic Programs

Welcome from the Office of Graduate Admissions & Academic Programs in the
College of Fine Arts. We look forward to meeting incoming students in person during the new student orientation sessions.

Besides handling admissions, our office is available as a resource to currently enrolled graduate students and graduate faculty and you may return to this site later in the fall semester as we transition matriculated graduate student information to the web. That information will include graduate assistantship reappointments, selecting your supervisory committee, admission to candidacy information for doctoral students, as well as final term procedures, which believe it or not, turn up just as you get settled at UF.

Annually throughout the fall semester and during the first week of the spring term, I schedule face-to-face meetings to review the school, college and university requirements to complete your degree.  Attendance is required for this meeting and it’s the perfect opportunity to ask questions in order to feel confident about completing your graduate degree.

The office is located in room 207 of the University Auditorium, which provides private space for small group meetings and individual advising on academic and student related matters.  Appointments may be scheduled most weekdays between 9:00-5:00, by emailing Laura Robertson. Due to the location of the office space, appointments must be scheduled in advance so that I may meet you at the outer locked doors of the Auditorium.

The University Auditorium is located at the corner of Union and Newell Drive, next to Century Tower and the office is on the southeast side.

Thank you,
Laura Robertson

The UF Office of Admissions evaluates your eligibility for admission to the university, while the department you wish to major in will determine your eligibility for its graduate program. The University of Florida Graduate School has additional helpful information.
