Theatre Block Auditions:
These are auditions held at the beginning and end of the Fall semester to cast all the roles for our theatre performances. 

Fall:
BFA/MFA – August 23, 2010
BA/open – August 24, 2010

Spring:
BFA/MFA November 15, 2010
BA/Open November 16, 2010

An audition sign-up sheet will be posted the first day of the auditions in the first floor hallway of the Theatre and Dance Pavilion. Please sign up for the first available time slot. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your group block.

All wishing to audition are to report to the box office lobby of the Nadine McGuire Theatre and Dance Pavilion to complete their audition forms on the day of auditions. All participants are required to fill out information sheets when they arrive and are encouraged (but not required) to bring several copies of headshots and resumes (one for each show you wish to be considered for.)

BFA/MFA theatre students will have 2 minutes to perform two contrasting monologues if not auditioning for the Fall musical. If auditioning for the Fall musical then 2 minutes and 30 seconds will be allotted for the two contrasting monologues and 16 bars of music.

BA/open auditions are open to anyone. They will have 1 minute to perform one monologue if not auditioning for the Fall musical. If auditioning for the Fall musical then 1 minute and 30 seconds will be allotted for the one monologue and 16 bars of music.

For musical auditions during Fall Block Auditions, please bring sheet music with you and a piano accompanist will be provided at the site.

Non-students are cast only when appropriate student talent has not auditioned.
