GEM OF THE OCEAN

The first chapter of Wilson’s ten play chronicle, The Pittsburgh Cycle, dramatizes the African American experience in the twentieth century. The play’s matriarch, Aunt Ester, guides family and friends on a soaring, expressive journey of supernatural wonder.

A teenage boy's fictional Internet identity begins as a harmless game. But the game takes on a frightening reality when it's overwhelmed by real emotion. When the virtual world and the real one collide, Nick's fantasies of love, intimacy, obsession and betrayal spiral out of control, leading him to the brink of death.

A musical that blends two plots, the "real" world of a writer attempting to convert his book into a screenplay, and the "reel" world of an illusory film. A comparatively straightforward missing daughter case becomes something more complex, and it keeps getting more complicated as the author keeps rewriting it.

THE GRAPES OF WRATH

A destitute family of sharecroppers are cast out from Oklahoma by drought, wretched poverty, and a ever-changing industry. In this bleak situation, they head west for California along with thousands of other "Okies" in search of property, professions and therefore pride.

MADWOMAN OF CHAILLOT

This poetic satire written by French dramatist Jean Giraudoux in 1943 portrays the life of a woman living in Paris while forced to deal with prudish authority. Described as "one part fantasy, two parts reason" by Theatre Arts Magazine, the play has also been referred to as having "an enveloping and irresistible humor" by the New York Drama Critics' Circle .
 
ROMEO & JULIET

William Shakespeare’s world-renowned tragedy has defined the template for all future love stories. A tale of two star-crossed lovers attempting to remain together against all odds is portrayed in a moving way that allows audience members to sense the heart wrenching emotions felt by the young lovers throughout hurdles with which they are faced. With comical characters to lighten up the tragic storyline, the play is both moving and entertaining and considered one of the greatest written works of all time.
