Self-Registration
Students who have the FA designation followed by DAN, THF, THP, or THB can self-register for Theatre and Dance courses, provided they have met course prerequisites.
Listserv
Current students are invited to join the School of Theatre and Dance listserv. The listserv will provide you with updates of departmental current events, important announcements, deadline reminders, and helpful registration tips. To join the SOTD listserv please contact the SOTD undergraduate advisor.
Degree Audits and Critical Tracking
Students should check their degree audits at www.isis.ufl.edu at least once every semester to make sure they are progressing toward graduation in a timely manner. Critical tracking courses appear near the top of the full-audit page and must be completed by end of first semester junior year.
Helpful Tips for B.A. General Theatre Students Toward Program Success:
- Students must complete two physical and two biological courses and one physical or biological lab prior to graduation.
- Students must complete 10 hours of a foreign language or show proficiency by passing the SAT II in the language of their choice. If proficiency is shown, students may use the 10-hour foreign language requirement as 10 hours of theatre electives. Students must complete 120 credit hours to earn the B.A. degree.
- Students must complete eighteen (18) credit hours of upper division courses (3000-/4000-level) in areas outside Theatre and Dance. Six (6) additional upper division credits may be earned in outside areas or as theatre electives.
