Robin Neveu (BFA 2007)
It was in my junior year of high school, at the National High School Dance Festival that I got my first taste of dance at UF. I saw the Florida MOD Project perform and immediately fell in love. I then took Kelly Drummond-CawthonÅfs master class and I was sold. Now in my second year at UF, I know I chose the right path. As a member of the MOD Project, I am constantly challenged and encouraged to expand my boundaries in mind and body, and it is what makes me truly happy everyday of my life. This year's MOD show, Never Enough, has been one of the most amazing experiences of my whole life. I have never felt so passionate about and so immensely proud of being a part of a show as I have with Never Enough. I loved everything about it-- the choreography, the message, the thought, the theatrics, the drama, and the humor. The show changed my life, the way I look at it, and the way I look at myself. I have never been a part of anything before that so fully and beautifully integrates mind, body, and soul to dance as the University of Florida School of Theatre and Dance does.

Meryl Thurston (BFA 2006)
I have been here for almost two years now, and I believe that I have experienced an extraordinary life through UF. I dance ALL day, EVERYDAY and life can't get any better. I have managed to include myself in musicals yearly, be a part of The Florida MOD Project, go to ACDFA twice, be cast in student works each semester, and learn many technique levels both on stage and behind stage. Life as a UF dance major doesn't even stop for sleep, we are always on top of things, reinventing, shifting, and trying out everything that we can get our hands on. I must say that I have learned more about the dance world in these past two years, than I have ever known before I came to UF. I love it here and life is now more complete since I am a UF dancer.

Alex Zukoski (BFA 2006)
As the days pass, I find myself regarding my training at the University of FloridaÅfs School of Theatre and Dance higher and higher. I become more pleased by the day with what I have learned, and I reach a better understanding of what I need to improve in my acting skills. I have been blessed with the opportunity to study with professors like Yanci Bukovec in the Lessac Voice System, Dr. David Shelton in Acting Technique, Kathy Sarra in Alexander Technique, or Tiza Garland in Stage Combat. Outside of my stage acting training, I have been able to explore the technical aspect of theatre, as well as dabble in our fantastic dance department. The opportunities available to me are limitless in this program. This school has accepted me and encouraged my growth at every turn. I am proud to be a BFA Acting Major at the University of Florida. To all those reading my message, just know that you will go somewhere with your training from this program. I know I will.

Jonathan Lovitz (BFA 2006)
UF Theatre, especially the Musical Theatre, is a family. I have never felt so safe to experiment, grow, and be something more than I thought I could be since IÅfve been here. This is not a school that produces typical, trademarked actors, but instead it produces individuals who have been taught to let their uniqueness shine onstage and off. I have become the best actor/singer/dancer I can be because I have been taught to audition and perform, showing the best of who I truly am.
