Rhythms, intervals, motifs, phrases, melodies, chords and chord progressions, in the standard clefs through listening, playing, singing and writing. Chord study includes triads in root position and inversions, non-harmonic tones, diatonic seventh chords, secondary functions, modulations, neapolitan chord and augmented sixth chords. It also includes a brief introduction to the late romanticism and the twentieth century music.
