University of Florida International Piano Festival

06/14/14 - 06/21/14

UFIPF assembles promising young artists for lessons and masterclasses with distinguished piano teachers from North America and China. UFIPF 2014 will run in two concurrent categories: College and Pre-College, June 14-21, 2014. A limited number of observers will also be accepted.

Pre-College Division--$75
Participant Fees include all lessons, room and board for the duration of the event. The Observer fee includes room and board, as well as access to observe all lessons. All attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements. The fee for participants not needing housing will be reduced by $200.00.
A limited number of partial scholarships will be available to outstanding applicants who prepare a Scholarship Essay (300 words or less) describing the circumstances of financial need. The applicant's audio recording and teacher's letter of recommendation will also be considered.
Travel Schedule: All participants must arrive on June 13 for activities to begin the morning of June 14. UFIPF will conclude on the afternoon of June 21, with departure that evening or the morning of June 22. The recommended airport is Gainesville Regional ( GNV), which is only a 10-minute taxi ride from campus. Jacksonville (JAX), Orlando (MCO) and Tampa (TPA) are also options, but will require car/bus transport.
