This annual Fall Showcase features the highly creative and original choreography by our senior BFA dance majors, as well as new and repertory works by guest artists and UF dance faculty. We offer a variety of programs during the show’s four day run in our studio theatre within the McGuire Pavilion, so be sure to pay attention to the advertised times and the various programs. Audiences have come to recognize this showcase as the nexus for cutting-edge artistry for artists on the verge of the new and the wonderful.

Broadway’s sixth longest-running show and winner of six Tony awards is a beloved musical based in the Prohibition era. The vaudeville style show satirizes the deceit within the criminal justice system and calls into question the corrupt favoritism toward celebrities guilty of crime. Bob Fosse’s well-known choreography and the famous musical numbers have comprised a legendary show that audiences throughout the world have fallen in love with over several decades.

This psychological thriller based on a true story revolves around a serial killer who is guilty of murdering his parents. After escaping jail, the anti-hero encounters a variety of characters who help to shape his criminal adventures all the while changing his identity several times in an unexpected journey.

This English comedy encompasses all aspects of comic relief including farce and satire while also being referred to as a comedy of manners, errors, and romance. First performed in London in 1773, the show consists of several subplots surrounding hilarious misunderstandings within the intriguingcharacters and the ensuing comic confusion.
