Research Biography:
Having received his M.A. in 2006, Daniel “Wood D” Weber is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Florida, and adjuncting at both Santa Fe College and the University of South Florida. His dissertation research focuses on Greek, Etruscan, and Roman images of the Dioskouroi, the mythological twins Castor and Polydeukes, within the broader visual culture of the ancient Mediterranean world. Wood D’s other research interests include Etruscan mirrors and ancient divination practices.
