Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre

Undergraduate
The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Theatre is the product of a School of Theatre and Dance and the School of Music collaboration. As Music Theatre is the most diversified area of the dramatic arts, our primary mission is training students to be triple threats in theatre, music and dance. The training process of Music Theatre fuses acting, singing and dancing into a single mode of expression. Our students must understand the unique relationship that exists among these three disciplines so that they can compete as performers in a challenging job market.
Visit our Musical Theatre web page for more information on the Musical Theatre program.

Information about specific degree requirements for the BFA in Acting may be found at http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/catalog/programs/majors/thtrperf.html

Approximately four students are accepted into the program each year. Auditions are held in the fall and spring.
