Proposal Review
Proposals will be peer reviewed by a committee of fine arts faculty. Awards will be announced by the end of December.
Criteria Used to Evaluate Proposals:
- Originality and significance of project
- Clarity of project proposal
- Likelihood that project will be completed (review of applicant's CV)
- Feasibility of project (budgets and methodology outlined in the proposal should be clear and reasonable)
The awards are not intended to replace School travel allocations to
professional conferences and School equipment purchases.
Projects that have the following characteristics will be given special consideration:
- Ability to attract external funding
- Will raise the profile of the University of Florida
- Will enhance graduate education (this is NOT course development)
