The Fine Arts Scholarship Enhancement Fund

The Fine Arts Scholarship Enhancement Fund
Final Report

Faculty who received a 2010 Fine Arts Scholarship Enhancement Fund Award must submit a brief final report outlining the development and/or completion of the project. A summary of these reports will be incorporated into a more extensive College report that will be submitted to the Office for Research and Graduate Education.

This SEF program is designed to stimulate new or existing creative/research activity in the fine arts and humanities at the University of Florida. It is important that the College of Fine Arts clearly articulates the impact and successes generated from such an important program.

The report is due on October 9, 2010. An electronic version must be sent to tsbrophy@ufl.edu, as well as a hardcopy submitted to:

Timothy S. Brophy, Assistant Dean
College of Fine Arts
101 Fine Arts A
PO Box 115800
CAMPUS

The report must be a one-page narrative which includes:

1. Title of Project
2. Amount funded
3. Brief description of the project
4. Methodology
5. Results (exhibitions, publications, performances, etc.)
6. Answers to the following:
     · What external funding was generated for/by this project?
     · How this research project contributed to raising the reputation and “profile” of the University of Florida?
     · How this research project enhanced graduate education at the University of Florida?

Attached to the report should be any brochures, catalogs, news articles, books, programs, etc. related to the project. These materials should clearly acknowledge the Fine Arts Scholarship Enhancement Fund as a funding source as outlined under “Guidelines”.
