Final Project Submission

Your "final project" is your final recital. In order to graduate, you will need to submit a description of your project accompanied by a number of supporting materials. The final project submission should include the following content:

  1. The official UF title page information.
  2. Signature page with signatures of all your supervisory committee members.
  3. A narrative description of your recital program. Include any thematic, technical or other extra-musical associations or references that may have been considered in selecting the program.
  4. Your program notes.
  5. The offical program, as printed for the recital.
  6. A CD recording of your recital.
  7. A short biography.

Templates for the title and signature pages are published by the graduate school each semester. Watch the graduate student listserv for details. Watch for, and attend, the annual College of Fine Arts advising meeting which will present the details of this document and the submission process.

Copies of final project submissions from prior years can be found in the Music Library.

Important dates for graduate students can be found on the Graduate School web site at: https://gradschool.ufl.edu/catalog/current-catalog/catalog-academic-calendar.html

Deadlines for submission of the final project and the abstract are published each semester at: https://gradschool.ufl.edu/pdf-files/deadlines-editorial.pdf
