Barbara Barletta (SA+AH), to further develop skills as a researcher of ancient Greek architecture and to use the knowledge gained for a book on the temples in the Sanctuary of Athena at Sounion, $32,649. [ application ]

Tony Mata (SOTD), to complete a documentary film that is a major contribution to the historiography of the American theatre, $33,545.[ application ]

Maria Rogal (SA+AH), to write an extensive literature review for a book that will introduce a new methodology into graphic design research and practice, $33,572. [ application ]

Steven Thomas (SoM), recording contemporary music for saxophone and cello and its preparation, manufacture and distribution, $45,396. [ application ]

Neta Pulvermacher (SoTD), to explore, develop, produce and present 2280 Pints! as a fully-realized multidisciplinary work to premiere June 12-19, 2011 at the world-renowned modern dance venue, Dance Theater Workshop in NYC, and on tour in the US and abroad in the 2011-12 season, $71,437. Timothy S. Brophy (SoM), travel to Germany, China, and Taiwan to further research in Item Response Theory modeling and the development/planning for the 3rd and 4th International Symposia on Assessment in Music Education, $35,537 [ application ]

Stanley Kaye (SoTD), to further research and teaching in architectural lighting, performance facility, and museum artifact and interactive lighting design, $45,197 [ application ]
